At times you hear of people passing on and you don't react, and at times you hear the news and you do stop and think for without really realizing it, those people have made an impact to your life in very subtle ways. I recently heard of someone's passing who had been the personification of a leader. He was the quintessential CEO with calm finesse who in my mind was the exemplary picture of what one should be like when they lead an organization. I had very little interaction with him on a one to one basis but he made an impact on me. It's sad to know he's gone but that is the way of things.

Decline
They said it would get worse with time and it has started. Once it starts, the decline is steady but certain and I fear the outcome so much! I remember seeing someone who went into a full onslaught of this and I shudder to think that this may be what I have in store for me. I don't want to end up like that....I don't want to be that lost

Music stores
This weekend I spent some time at a music store....I love being in music stores! Years ago I could spend hours in there. I have ofcourse also embraced streaming as everyone else has but I still think there's something very special about buying a music CD and having it in hand physically....guess I'm very old fashioned in that sense.
While I bought a lot of CDs there was one I bought that I wanted for my car, I have this back home as well but just wanted another one here with me. While listening to it, I realized that every song in it has a memory attached to it, a memory of a time that now seems a lifetime away. It's been 20 years since that album first came out and yet listening to it now I was still transported back to those days. What a wonderful blast of nostalgia

Keep going
This restlessness kills me at times! I don't know what I have to do to finally be at peace. Perhaps it's a feeling that if I stop then something negative will happen so I just keep going.
